I would love to get Volks Williams with his default eyes, face-up and wig. Or even just his head. I have advertised on DoA but so has the world and her sister XD

I'd probably need a looong layaway (depending on the price) unless someone would like to do trades.

I sincerely wish he hadn't become so valuable. I sold my original one in order to buy a Masha. Who is gorgeous but ultimately lacks the staying power, for me.

I am so much happier now. I got a replacement pureskin body for Annat from Fanny on Den of Angels. The body arrived today, so as soon as we got back from our walk, I hastened to pop Annat's head on top.

I didn't realise, but the body, which came from SD Mimi, has the H-02 spread hands, which were what I wanted all along. I put Annat into an outfit from Kasiotfur (which is really for SD13, but never mind) and a wig from Bibish. She looks good, though I am not sure about the dark brown glass eyes she is currently wearing.

I'll have to pop some photos up...anyway the sequel is that there are now THREE dolls, one head and one body. So things have improved. The head (Hedy) won't get a body until the twigLIMBS are done, which is something that I am looking forward to tremendously. From the photos I have seen, I definitely feel it is worth the wait.

Other doll machinations: a whiteskin Soom Gena head for my SD13 body, which I am not sure about, and a Minimee head from dechanique (which will need a body). These arrangements are quite fluid...I do not yet know whether I will keep the Soom Gena head when I get it. I am very excited about the Minimee head, but dechanique has got her finals, poor soul, so there will be a bit of a wait there.

Note for purists: the Anais in the avatar is the wrong one XD. My Anais is no. 1, with a different default wig etcetera. Yeah.

Sometimes, I really wish I still had Sasha - the actual limited Sasha, that is.

I just sold my F16 BW head to someone on DoA, and now I'm advertising for another one. The trouble is, for various reasons I have always been such a restless doll owner (Revolving Doll Association).

I suppose the other idea at the back of my mind is a quest for an FCS-type boy - maybe with the new F-28 head.

Anyway, if anyone knows of...or comes across...any snow-skin F16 heads knocking around...please let me know.

Ok. It's the New Year.

Have had rather a run of bad luck selling my dolls. I've had two buyers pull out of buying Bernard - one of them after assuring me I could have the cash tomorrow - and then he didn't sell on eBay. The auction had 10 watchers and no bids.

I put Yukinojo up for sale yesterday and immediately got a buyer who said she would pay me on the 28th. Today, she PMed me to say that her husband had vetoed the purchase.

On the strength of that sale, I was going to buy an Unoss from ravendolls and had put in an order for the limited black doll Cocori from Iplehouse.

I get the feeling that sales on DoA are really slow at the moment. And no-one seems that keen to buy from UK sellers, except the odd person with whom I've done deals before.

Apart from that - rather a flat day but I did do some writing. I've got them to the stage where they are about to set off on the infamous journey into enemy territory, the slight drawback being that the journey takes 12 days. I think I'm going to have to do some serious condensing as there is only so much incident you can pack into a journey - well, of course in theory you could pack in a hell of a lot of incident, but it might come across as rather ridiculous. Like the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark where Indie is escaping from the temple in the jungle and is pursued by about one hundred different booby traps including a giant boulder.

No photos of kkotmu yet...she made it today after her accidental trip to Aberdeen and arrived looking rather cross. I love her but can't think of a name yet!

Having just found a name for Holly (Unoss), i have done her a mischief. I was trying to put a new wig on and gripped her between my legs (don't try this at home, folks) and her foot snapped off. AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

We took her leg off carefully and the little hook in her foot had sheered right off. Stephenopod says he will put one in...a small brass hook - but he was a bit dubious that we'd find a drill bit small enough!

Poor Holly has been put to bed next to Miss Obitsu (another doll that needs a proper name) and is looking most aggrieved! I'm sure the other dolls are staring at me accusingly. I was just too gung ho and I feel quite guilty. I haven't broken a doll before. I just hope Pod and I can fix her, otherwise we may be sending out a call for emergency doll assistance!

Ok. I'm way behind with the photos, but here at last are some of the crew: Annat wearing one of Neale's mohair wigs, Febe, Ms Obitsu and Sasha Paleface (who isn't a Sasha hem hem), and little Uyoo. I seem to have got really stuck thinking of names for dolls recently and they all have daft names at the moment.

Not photographed yet are my Unoss girl and small-brown-Sasha newcomer Kathy. Still to come are a kkotmu and a Narae. Incidentally, since I took these pics the weather got a lot colder and everyone is now in warm clothing. And Dodo Eloise is in the bath (never mind).
