Fab pics! Fab dolls! (And I'm not even a dolls enthusiast!)
Though, come to think of it, I am about to make a rag doll from a pattern by Valerie Janitch for my daughter so that she can dress and decorate it. She'll probably make it a goth doll, all black costume and glittery piercings, heigh-ho...
it's great to have you posting on LJ, which is the only cool bit of the Internet that I indulge in. I am an uncool middle-aged trout, and I don't go in for any other mass blog, such as myspace or facebook, because one exciting trendy internet thingy is enough for me!
I hope life is treating you well. Please don't forget lj! Please also forgive my wittering: I am insomniac and enduring menopausal hot flushes, thus somewhat blergh! online!
Hi Maggie - how nice to hear from you! I'm an uncool middle-aged trout too :D Though I do have a Facebook account...it is mainly a way to play scrabble online, be very silly and store photos. I am sorry to hear about the hot flushes. I seem to be heading that way myself, alas :( and last night I was awake till 7am! We went to bed at about 3.30am and I just lay there tossing and turning. So have been pretty useless today. The doll for your daughter sounds great fun! (Beware the curse of Super Dollfie!). I was indifferent to dolls from the age of 12 until about the age of 36, when something went 'ping' and I got my old Sasha Dolls out of the cellar... (By the way, Facebook is 100% a time-wasting exercise, except that I have made contact with one nice friend I had lost touch with. You can send people virtual drinkies!)
Cool, the tents are great, I like the idea of the camping, dead funny...I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos! I put one of the parrots in with a doll once and took tons of pictures. You can put everything in the tent (apart from the kitchen sink) :D
Thanks, Jess. At the moment the pictures are a bit boring. However, Mercy has suggested I try to learn the manual settings on my camera (eek!) so that may improve things a bit too. XD
